Fabiano Roggio is an Italian actor.
Originally from Puglia, Fabiano moved to Rome in 2011 to enroll in acting studies at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Cassiopea, from which he graduated in 2014.
In 2015, he was selected from Teatro delle Viti | INuovi to participate in "La Prova del Topo," a collaborative stage production directed by Michele Galasso and Antonio Careddu, alongside Gabriele Guerra, Caterina Marino, Riccardo Marotta, and Maria Chiara Pellitteri. The production showcased at the Rome Fringe Festival.
In 2018, Fabiano made his debut in Irish theatre at Bewley’s Café Theatre with "Roman Fever" and "Dinner In Mulberry Street," collaborating with directors Michael James Ford and Bairbre Ní Chaoimh. His performances brought a touch of Italian flair to the Irish theatre scene. Fabiano continued to perform at Bewley's for three more years, contributing to the success of these productions.
In 2017 - at the cinema – he's cast in the film "The Man Who Invented Christmas" by Bharat Nalluri alongside Dan Stevens and Christopher Plummer.
Between 2018 and 2019, he appeared in the TV series "The Bailout" on TV3 directed by Conall Morrison and in TV series “Resistance” on RTÉ One, directed by Catherine Morshead, alongside Brian Gleeson.
In 2019, he contributed to the development of Jerca Roznik Novak's dance piece "2gether/Al(l)one," organized by DFT19.
In 2021, he recorded Personal Space by Mairéad Kiernan for RTÉ Radio Drama on One alongside Evanna Lynch.
In 2022, he began collaborating with Theatre Lovett where he was cast in "A Fox Fest for all the family" an interactive performance alongside Louis Lovett and Nick Roth.
In 2022, he starred at the Galway Film Fleadh in "Surrender Your Horns," directed by Bryony Dunne. The film was also featured at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in 2023. In late August he was cast in Joyce’s Women at the Abbey National Theatre of Ireland during the Dublin Theatre Festival, while also being cast in BROS by Romeo Castellucci which showcased at the O'Reilly Theatre.
In 2023, he was involved with Speckintime Theatre, contributing to the work-in-development, "Finding Love in an Abattoir". Additionally, he collaborated with Federico Rea on the concept for a Bialetti advertisement "Bialetti – The Moka Sound" produced by Nomos Productions.
Since 2022, he's been working closely with Theatre Lovett on multiple projects, including a new work called "Opera! Opera!" set to premiere in 2025.
As a dynamic host, Fabiano has left a lasting impression while collaborating with Heineken Ireland to host "Birra Moretti" events across Ireland, delivering impactful performances at various pubs nationwide. Most notably, he hosted the Italian beer brand at the Electric Picnic. With his captivating storytelling skills, Fabiano brings to life the inspiring tale of the man printed on the bottle of Birra Moretti.
